Tour program 7: 7nights and 8days Tour(National Founding Day)

Day 0: September 2nd(Fri)

Starting from Day 0(Friday): one day before your departure Saturday to Pyongyang.

Upon your arrival in the Shenyang Taoxian Airport, we shall pick you up (a van or bus will be offered for more than 5 persons) and take you to a 4-star Chilbosan hotel(owned and runs by DPRK) in Shenyag. You can also go to Chilbosan Hotel independently(Please inform us about your decision beforehand). A room in the hotel will be booked for your name. After check-in, your payment for the DPRK trip in Euro cash will be collected, and you do not have to surrender your passport for more than an hour or so in any case and DPRK entry visas processed. During your stay in Shenyang, we shall provide you with full service including dinner with entertainment by North Korean entertainers, and transfers to Shenyang Taoxian Airport on the day of departure.

Day 1: September 3rd(Sat)

PM: Bus from Chilbosan hotel to Shenyang Taoxian airport,

Flight: JS 156 from Shenyang to Pyongyang, 15:00 departure, arrive Pyongyang 17:10

Day 2: September 4th(Sun)

Pyongyang city tour on Kim Il-Sung Square, lunch on Boat Pyongyang No.1 on Taedong river, Revolutionary Martyr's Cemetery-bronze bursts of the Korean hero's who died fight against Japanese aggressor, Juche Tower-150m stone tower with lookout platform at the top and great panoramic views of the city, Mansudae Fountain park, Mansudae Grand Monuments, Arch of triumph, Mangyongdae-birthplace of the President Kim Il-Sung, Metro-the deepest metro in the world, a chance ride with Pyongyang citizen, drive to Nampo

OVERNIGHT: Ryonggang Hotspa hotel, Nampo

Day 3: September 5th(Mon)

West Sea Barrage, Mt. Kuwol, picnic lunch, Annak Tomb No.3 -one of totalling about 30 individual tombs - from the later period of the Koguryo Kingdom(277BC-668AD), one of the strongest kingdoms in nowadays northeast China and half of the Korean peninsula between the 3rd century BC to 7th century AD. The tombs, many with beautiful wall paintings, are almost the only remains of this culture. These paintings offer a unique testimony to daily life of this period and to the present in South and North Korea. drive to Old city, drive to Kaesong the old capital city of Koryo dynasty near the DMZ which is survived during Korea War, local cuisine dinner, checking into the Folk hotel(Minsok hotel) where guests sleep on the floor in the traditional Korean style.

Day 4: September 6th(Tue)

Panmunjom on DMZ-the hall of signing of the Armistice Agreement, Conference hall of the Military Armistice Commission and the Tongil House and Panmun house on the norther side of the Military Demarcation Line that runs across the Conference Hall,

Concrete Wall-anti tank barrier erected on the southern boundary of the DMZ,

Koryo History Museum, lunch in Tongil Restaurant, visit the tomb of King Kongmin-a beautiful twin-domed tomb of the 31st King of the Koryo dynasty and his Mongolian wife, back to Pyongyang, Pyongyang children's Palace-extracurricular educational institution for the school children, dinner

OVERNIGHT: Yanggakdo hotel, Pyongyang

Day 5: September 7th(Wed)

A tour on the east cost, High and steep mountains on the shore present exquisite views in harmony with the blue sea(Sea chilbo, Riwon, Majon, Songdowon and Sea Kumgang), drive to Wonsan by bus, lunch in Fish farm, Ulrim Waterfall, Wonsan Port, to Lake Sijung

OVERNIGHT: Sijung hotel, Kangwondo

Day 6: September 8th(Thu)

Sokwang Temple, Chonsam Co-Op Farm, lunch in local restaurant in Wonsan city, return to Pyongyang Tomb of King Tongmyong en-route, dinner

OVERNIGHT: Yanggakdo Hotel, Pyongyang

Day 7: September 9th(Fri)

AM: USS 'PUEBLO'- American spy-ship capture in 1968, Grand People's Study House-huge library/university building styled in traditional Korean architecture over looking Kim Il-Sung square, Museum of Korean Revolution, Mount Ryonggak outskirt of Pyongyang for a picnic lunch

PM: Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum(Korean War Museum) - DPRK version of Korean conflict, War Victory Monument-sculptures of notable events from the war, In Pyongyang to celebrate for the 66th Anniversary of Liberation Day(August 15,1945), expect lots of festivities in the parks and mass dances(a chance to mix with Pyongyangers), farewell dinner at Pyongyang DUCK BBQ Restaurant

Overnight: Yanggakdo hotel, Pyongyang,

Day 8: September 10th(Sat)

AM: Train from Pyongyang departs at 10:10a.m. (for non-US citizen only)

PM: Cross border at Sinuiju/Dandong(arrival at 17:00h, Shenyang 22:10h, Tour end

PM: Pyongyang city tour and shopping, flight to Shenyang, 12:15h, arrival at Shenyang 12:15h. Tour end

You may transfer to a connecting flight for your final destination, or you may stay in Dandong, Shenyang(optional, booking is needed).
