Forms available on this page can be filled out on-line and assist in the processing of your application for the entry visa to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

A minimum of 3 weeks is needed to process a request for an official visa from the DPRK. Due to this time frame, it is imperative that the application process be initiated immediately. In the event that the request for an entry visa is denied, a full refund will be provided.

All travelers will be responsible in obtaining a valid Chinese entry visa for transit to the DPRK (need a minimum of 6 months validity in your passport).

Once invitation to visit the DPRK is granted, travelers should apply for the entry visa at the DPRK Embassy in the applicant’s country of origin. If DPRK representation is not available in said country, Electronic Visa Application will be made to apply on traveler’s behalf in China.

1. Visa Application Requirements

All approved entry visa’s are available at the DPRK Embassy in the applicant’s country of origin.  The following items will be necessary to obtain the visa from the embassy: 

1.  Complete DPRK VISA FORM
2.  Valid passport(need a minimum of 6 months validity in your passport)
3.  Two color standard size passport photos (approx. 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm)
4.  Visa fee

Getting Started

Please have your passport, previous visa information (if applicable), and any other documents relevant to your intended travel ((mentioning the dates and programs as above) to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea ready and available for your reference before you start the application process.

All entry visa’s that are processed on behalf of the traveler by ‘commissioned agents’ in China but provide the following items:

1. Completed Application Form

2. Clear photo copy of a valid passport(need a minimum of 6 months validity in your passport)

3. 2 passport photos (Jpeg/pdf format no larger than 100 k)

Once approved, entry visa with air ticket will be available at the Chilbosan Hotel by ‘the General Consulate of DPRK, Shenyang or by the Korea International Travel Company(KITC) in Shenyang, China
