The 11th Pyongyang International Film Festival will raise its curtain in Pyongyang between September 17 and 26, 2008.

The festival will be divided into contests for full-length films and for documentary and short films, special and information shows and film exchange exhibition.

Films made after June 2006 are to be presented to the festival. Full-length films and documentaries that have won prizes in other international films festival or have been box-office hits at home and abroad are allowed for special show.  A film market will be opened and the preview of Korean films held at the film exhibition.
